Service Agreement
Last updated 2026-09-29
This agreement is between OneTap Automation ("OneTap", "we") and the business or household that signs up for a OneTap plan ("you"). You accept it when you check the box at signup or sign at the door.
1. Term
Every plan has a 3-month minimum term starting on the first payment. After that it continues month to month until you cancel.
If you cancel during the minimum term, service and billing continue until the minimum term ends. After the minimum term, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
2. What we provide
We install and manage the NFC tags, stands and cards listed for your plan, keep their links working, send the monthly report, and provide the other features of your plan as described on onetapautomation.com at the time you sign up.
Features that need access to your Google Business Profile (review replies, profile upkeep) start once you add us as a manager. We draft review replies for your approval; nothing is posted without it.
3. Hardware ownership
While you're on a plan, OneTap owns the tags, stands and cards we install. You agree not to reprogram, resell or remove them except to hand them back.
If your plan ends, the tags stay with you and keep working. Every tag is switched to a plain link to your Google review page and is no longer managed or reported on.
4. Replacements
Lost, stolen or damaged tags are replaced free, as needed. If one location needs unusually many, we'll work with you on a better placement before anything is charged. Damage caused on purpose is not covered.
5. Fees and billing
You pay the one-time setup fee and the monthly price shown at checkout or on your written quote. The setup fee, which covers installation, is charged once with the first month; the monthly price is then billed in advance each month to the card or account on file through Stripe. The setup fee is not refundable once installation is done.
If a payment fails, your tags keep working while we try the payment again. If an account stays unpaid for 30 days, we may pause managed features. Prices for an existing plan change only with 30 days' notice by email.
6. Results
Reviews come from your customers, and how many you get depends on how often your team offers the card. We don't guarantee a number of reviews, customers or sales. Your monthly report shows what's working so we can improve it together.
7. Review rules
You agree to follow our Review Policy: every customer gets the same review link, no one is offered anything in exchange for a review, and no one is discouraged from leaving an honest review. We may pause review features if a location breaks these rules, because breaking them can get a listing penalized.
8. Customer email lists
On plans with an email list, the list belongs to you. We collect sign-ups with the consent wording you approve, send the emails you approve, and include an unsubscribe link and a postal address in every message. You agree not to add people who haven't signed up.
9. Data
Tap counts record the time and rough device type only, never who tapped. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
10. Limits
Tags are passive stickers; results depend on your customers. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
11. General
Texas law governs this agreement. We may update this agreement for new signups; changes for existing customers take effect after 30 days' email notice, and you may cancel before then without the minimum term if the change is material and against your interest.
